Shepherd of the Hills is a Christian congregation located in the city of Lead in the Northern Black Hills of South Dakota.
The Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran faith community, a member of the growing association of Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC), is a diverse group of people who come from a variety of faith backgrounds and experiences. What unites us is our common mission to GATHER as God's people, to be GUIDED by our understanding of God's Word and grace, and to go, SENT to serve others in Jesus' name. We are blessed to advance the Kingdom of God, as He wills, and we are thankful for members and partners who carry out His will with us. We want to share our church house with you, share worship with you, and share the acts of Christ with you. Come as you are: everyone is welcome to join us in worship! Pastor Anderson was installed at Shepherd of the Hills on April 22, 2018.
Tonight is our Lenten Soup Diner and service, diner at 5:30 and Service at 6:30. Pastor Anderson and Susan will be joining us. Please attend.
We have called Pastor Will Anderson to come join our flock and he has accepted the call. He and his wife Susan will be moving into the parsonage over the next few weeks. His first day will be Easter Sunday please join us in welcoming him to the church.
